Does this work on my phone in the field?+
Yes. Engine is a web app that installs on iOS and Android as a home-screen icon — no app store. Everything the crew needs — today's route, job details, adding line items, sending invoices — works on a phone with one hand.
Can my crew log time without giving them admin access?+
Yes. Team members get a restricted role: they see the jobs on their schedule, can check in/out, add photos, and capture customer signatures. They cannot see pricing, other crews' jobs, or any financials.
How does Engine handle cash payments?+
Log cash the same way you log a card payment — mark the invoice paid, select Cash, note the amount. It flows through to live revenue and the CPA portal. No Stripe fee, no separate spreadsheet.
Do I have to sign a contract?+
No. $29/mo, month-to-month, cancel anytime. The first 50 paying accounts get 30% off forever — that discount follows the account for life, not just the first year.
What does the accountant get?+
A free read-only login. They see invoices, expenses, job profitability, and can export everything to CSV or QuickBooks-compatible format. You don't pay for a second seat just to give your CPA access.
