Engine is field service management software. We collect the information you give us so the product works. We don't sell it, we don't share it with advertisers, and we use a small set of trusted vendors to actually run the software. That's the whole story. The rest of this page is the specifics.

Who we are

Engine is operated by Abixon Digital, located in the United States. Contact: info@abixondigital.com.

Information we collect

From you, the business owner: name, email address, phone number, business name, business address, service area, password, and the brand assets you upload (logo, brand color).

From your business operations: customer names, addresses, phone numbers, emails; jobs you schedule; estimates and invoices you create; expenses you log; photos you upload; notifications you send to your customers. This is the data you put into Engine to run your business.

From your customers (when they pay you): we don't store credit card numbers - those are handled entirely by Stripe (see vendors below). We do store the amount paid, the date, and the last 4 digits of the card so you can reference the payment.

Automatic: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, page accessed, timestamp) for security and debugging. We don't use third-party analytics or tracking cookies.

How we use it

• Run the product (let you log in, schedule jobs, send invoices).
• Send transactional emails: account confirmation, password reset, trial-ending reminders, billing notifications, and the customer-facing emails YOU send through Engine to your own customers.
• Process payments (via Stripe).
• Bill you for your subscription.
• Provide customer support when you contact us.
• Detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
• Comply with legal requirements.

We do not use your data or your customers' data to train any AI model, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.

Service providers we use

We rely on a small number of service providers to run Engine. Each one only receives the data they need to do their job, and each is bound by their own privacy and security commitments. The categories:

• Payment processor - Stripe. Stripe handles subscription billing AND, via Stripe Connect, the payments your customers make to you. Stripe receives your billing details and your customers' payment details directly. We never see or store full card numbers.
• Cloud infrastructure providers - host the application, database, and file storage in US data centers. Each business's data is logically isolated from every other business.
• Email delivery providers - send transactional emails on our behalf (account confirmation, password reset, billing, and the customer-facing emails YOU send through Engine).

We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or third-party analytics platforms. If you need a current list of named subprocessors for a compliance review, email info@abixondigital.com.

Your customer's data

When you put a customer's information into Engine, you are the data controller. We store and process it on your behalf. If your customer asks us directly to delete their data, we'll forward the request to you so you can decide what to do, since you have the relationship with them.

Your rights

You can:

• Export your data - every table you have access to is exportable to CSV from inside the app, or contact us for a full database dump.
• Correct anything inaccurate - most data is editable directly in the app.
• Delete your account - cancel your subscription, then email info@abixondigital.com requesting deletion. We delete within 30 days, except where we're required to keep records (Stripe, IRS, etc.) for up to 7 years.

Cookies

We use one cookie: a session token that keeps you logged in. It's essential to the product. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Children

Engine is for businesses. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If we learn we have, we delete it.

Changes to this policy

When we change anything material, we'll email all active account owners and update the “Last updated” date at the top.
